TOELICHTING FLEXWONINGEN COMPACT S VENTILATIE WARMTEPOMP

De energiezuinige flexwoningen aan de Oosterdreef in Nieuw-Vennep zijn gebouwd in opdracht van woningcorporatie Ymere en maken geen gebruik meer van fossiele brandstoffen zoals aardgas. Alle 60 flexwoningen worden namelijk van een optimaal binnenklimaat voorzien met behulp van een ventilatie warmtepomp van het merk Nilan. Dit innovatieve systeem werkt op elektriciteit, deels opgewekt met de op het dak aanwezige zonnepanelen. De Nilan Compact S zorgt automatisch voor comfort ventilatie, verwarming in de koudere maanden in combinatie met de elektrische bij-verwarming, comfort of top koeling in de zomer en voor de productie van warm water. De energiezuinige flexwoningen zijn altijd op de juiste temperatuur en worden voortdurend van schone en frisse lucht voorzien waardoor de luchtvochtigheid op een goed niveau blijft en het comfort altijd optimaal is. Als gebruiker is het de bedoeling dat u geen omkijken heeft naar het systeem. We hebben toch wat informatie voor u samengesteld voor het geval dat u de temperatuur in uw woning wilt aanpassen. Hieronder vindt u een afbeelding van een thermostaat. Als u op de knop drukt, verschijnt het onderstaande beeld op het display.

Keuzemenu instellingen – toestel aan/uit - Dit gebruikt u alleen bij het wisselen of reinigen van de filters.
Ruimte temperatuur in de woning - Wanneer u het symbool van de huidige temperatuur aanraakt ziet u de pijltjes voor hoger of lager. Deze temperatuur kunt u verhogen of verlagen door middel van deze pijltjes.
Luchtvochtigheid in de woning - Is geen gebruiksknop; geeft alleen informatie over de gemiddelde lucht-vochtigheid in uw woning.
Ventilatie stand - Tijdens douchen of koken kan deze automatisch op-toeren om de luchtvochtigheid op peil te houden.

Op het standaard opstartscherm van het bedieningspaneel kunt u als bewoner de instellingen aanpassen die u dagelijks nodig heeft. De standaard instellingen voor de Compact S ventilatie warmtepomp in uw appartement zijn al zo ingesteld dat u eigenlijk weinig hoeft te doen.

BELANGRIJK

- Nilan warmtepomp nooit helemaal uitzetten.

- Niet de instellingen anders dan temperatuur of de ventilatie stand veranderen van de warmtepomp.

- Niet aan de ventilatie roosters komen. Deze zijn speciaal afgesteld en moeten open blijven voor een goede werking.

- Temperatuur kunt u zelf wel instellen, altijd tussen de 18 - 22 graden, hier niet van afwijken.

- Ventilatie kunt u wel harder of zachter zetten, tussen 1 -4.

Elektrische bij-verwarming in de woonkamer/keuken
Er hangt een elektrisch paneel in uw woonkamer/keuken dat fungeert als extra verwarming wanneer het buiten kouder wordt. Het paneel is aangesloten op de ventilatie warmtepomp en schakelt automatisch in als dat nodig is. U hoeft de instellingen niet aan te passen en het paneel moet vrij staan/hangen. Het stopcontact waarop het paneel is aangesloten, is uitsluitend bedoeld voor de het paneel en kan niet worden gebruikt voor andere elektrische apparaten vanwege de koppeling met de Nilan warmtepomp.

Ventilatie koeling

Voor extra comfort in de zomer beschikt de ingebouwde warmtepomp over een omkeerbaar koelcircuit waardoor de unit in de zomer de toevoerlucht in de woning kan afkoelen (top koeling) met behoud van een optimale en gecontroleerde luchtvochtigheid. Vanwege de lage luchtuitwisseling functioneert dit niet als een airconditioning. Door vocht (is energie) te onttrekken van de warme buitenlucht neemt de luchtvochtigheid af waardoor een aangenamer en comfortabeler klimaat ontstaat, zelfs wanneer de binnentemperatuur in de woning hoog is. Deze warmte (energie) die uit de vochtige en warme buitenlucht wordt gehaald wordt door het systeem gebruikt om warm water mee te maken waardoor de temperatuur van het water in de boiler automatisch wordt verhoogd. Het systeem is zo ingesteld dat de koeling automatisch aanslaat zodra de temperatuur in huis 4 graden boven de door u op het display ingestelde temperatuur komt. Bijvoorbeeld: u stelt de Nilan in op 22 graden; de koeling zal aanslaan zodra de temperatuur in huis op 22+4= 26 graden bereikt heeft. Voor een sneller resultaat kunt u de ventilatie opschakelen naar stand 3 of 4.
Let op: de koeling is een zogenaamde’ topkoeling’. Dit wil zeggen dat u de temperatuur in huis met circa 5 of 6 graden kunt verlagen. Het is dus niet te vergelijken met een Airco die een veel hogere luchtverplaatsing heeft en ook veel meer elektriciteit verbruikt.

In geval dat tijdens een heel erg warme periode de woning niet in gebruik is geweest zoals bijvoorbeeld tijdens de zomervakantie kan bij terugkomst de temperatuur in de woning wat opgelopen zijn (er is immers geen verbruik van water geweest waardoor het koel vermogen tijdelijk is beperkt). Dit zal automatisch worden opgelost wanneer er weer gedoucht of op een andere manier warm of koud water gebruikt wordt in de woning. Belangrijk: Maak gebruik van de zonwering (indien aanwezig) in de zomer wanneer u een langere periode niet in de woning verblijft.

Reinigen en vervangen van de filters

De ventilatie in uw woning wordt gedaan door een zogenaamde Warmte Terug Win installatie (WTW). Dit zijn de ventilatoren bovenin het toestel. De WTW maakt gebruik van filters om de lucht in uw woning extra schoon de woning in te blazen. Deze filters dienen met regelmaat te worden vervangen. Met name de eerste maanden is het belangrijk ze te reinigen i.v.m. het nog aanwezige bouwstof in de woning. De meest eenvoudige manier is om dit met de stofzuiger te doen. U kunt hiervoor de filters uit het toestel halen en gewoon met een stofzuiger schoonmaken. Het filter hoeft niet uit het frame gehaald te worden hiervoor. Dit kunt u maximaal 1 of 2 keer doen en met name na de oplevering. Als Nilan raden wij u af om de filters niet vaker dan 1 of 2 te stofzuigen na de oplevering. Bij stofzuigen veranderd de structuur van het filterdoek, hierdoor kan er stof vrijkomen of wordt het stof het filter ingezogen. Dit komt het optimaal functioneren van de WTW filters en de WTW installatie en met name de luchtkwaliteit in het appartement niet ten goede. Na de eerste maanden is het gebruikelijk om de filters 2 x per jaar te vervangen.

Ventilatie uit. Verwijder het frontje.

Verwijder de filters en maak ze schoon.

Zuig ook het filterhuis schoon.

Plaats de filters weer terug.

Plaats frontje terug en zet weer vast.

Druk op de instellingen knop en

schakel het toestel weer in (Aan)

Druk op de reset button om het interval weer opnieuw in te stellen (RESET)

Overige info

De uitgebalanceerde ventilatie warmtepomp in uw appartement zorgt voortdurend voor een gezonde binnenlucht. Het systeem haalt zoveel mogelijk warmte uit de afgevoerde lucht van uw appartement, die vervolgens wordt gebruikt om de verse buitenlucht te verwarmen. Bovendien zijn er filters in het systeem geïnstalleerd die zorgen voor minder stof in de lucht. Hoewel u nog steeds ramen en deuren kunt openen voor extra ventilatie, is dit niet langer nodig, maar het mag natuurlijk wel. In de winter kan dit echter leiden tot minder comfort omdat de warmte uit het appartement verdwijnt. In de zomer kan er juist meer warme lucht binnenkomen dan gewenst. Daarom is het verstandig om ramen en deuren zeker niet langer dan een half uur open te laten staan wanneer het koud of erg warm is. Zorg er altijd voor dat u gebruik maakt van zonwering (indien aanwezig) in de zomer om te voorkomen dat de zon de woning te veel opwarmt. In de winter is het juist belangrijk dat de zon wel de appartement kan binnenkomen om extra warmte te genereren.

EXPLANATION FLEX HOMES COMPACT S VENTILATION HEAT PUMP

The energy-efficient flex homes on the Oosterdreef in Nieuw-Vennep were built on behalf of housing corporation Ymere and no longer use fossil fuels such as natural gas.

All 60 flex homes are provided with an optimal indoor climate with the help of a ventilation heat pump from the Danish brand Nilan. This innovative system works on electricity, partly generated with the solar panels on the roof.

The Nilan Compact S automatically provides comfort ventilation, heating in the colder months in combination with the electric auxiliary heating, comfort or top cooling in the summer and year-round production of hot water.

The energy-efficient flex homes are always at the right temperature and are constantly supplied with clean and fresh air, so that the humidity remains at a good level and comfort is always optimal. As a user, the intention is that you do not have to worry about the system.

We have put together some information for you in case you want to adjust the temperature in your home. Below is an image of a thermostat. If you press the button, the image below will appear on the display.

Settings menu – device on/off - You only use this when changing or cleaning the filters.
Room temperature in the house - When you touch the symbol of the current temperature you will see the arrows for higher or lower. You can increase or decrease this temperature by means of these arrows.
Humidity in the home - Is not a use button; only provides information about the average humidity in your home.
Ventilation mode - During showering or cooking, this mode can change automatically to extract humidity.

On the default startup screen of the control panel, you as a resident can adjust the settings you need on a daily basis. The default settings for the Compact S ventilation heat pump in your apartment are already set in such a way that you actually have to do as little as possible. By not changing the settings regularly you also save as much as possible on your energy bill.

IMPORTANT

- Never switch off the unit completely by turning off the power

- Do not change the settings of the heat pump, only adjust temperature or the ventilation setting.

- Do not touch the ventilation grilles in the ceiling. These are specially adjusted and must remain open for proper operation.

- You can set the temperature yourself, always between 18 - 22 degrees, do not deviate from this.

- Ventilation can be turned up or down between 1 - 4 if required.

Electric auxiliary heating in the living room/kitchen
There is an electrical panel on the ceiling of your living room that acts as extra heating when it gets colder outside. The panel is connected to the ventilation heat pump and switches on automatically if necessary. You do not need to adjust the settings and the panel must be unobstructed. The socket to which the panel is connected is intended exclusively for the panel and should not be used for other electrical appliances due to the connection with the Nilan heat pump.

Cooling

For extra comfort in summer, the built-in heat pump has a reversible cooling circuit so that the unit can cool the supply air in the house in the summer (top cooling) while maintaining optimal and controlled humidity.

Due to the low air exchange, this does not function as an air conditioning. By extracting moisture (is energy) from the warm outside air, the humidity decreases, creating a more pleasant and comfortable climate, even when the indoor temperature in the house is high. This heat (energy) that is extracted from the humid and warm outside air is used by the system to make hot water, which automatically increases the temperature of the water in the boiler.

The system is set in such a way that the cooling switches on automatically as soon as the temperature in the house rises 4 degrees above the temperature you set on the display. For example: you set the Nilan to 22 degrees; The cooling will start as soon as the temperature in the house has reached 22+4= 26 degrees.

For a faster result, you can switch the ventilation to position 3 or 4. Please note: the cooling is a so-called 'top cooling'. This means that you can lower the temperature in the house by approximately 5 or 6 degrees. It is therefore not comparable to an air conditioner that has a much higher air movement and also consumes much more electricity.

In case that the house has not been in use during a very hot period, such as during the summer holidays, the temperature in the house may have risen a bit upon return (after all, there has been no consumption of water, which temporarily limits the cooling capacity). This will be solved automatically when showering again or otherwise using hot or cold water in the house. Important: Make use of the awnings (if any) in the summer when you are not staying in the house for a longer period of time.

Cleaning and replacing the filters

The ventilation in your home is done by a so-called Heat Recovery Ventilation installation (HRV). These are the fans at the top of the device. The HRV uses filters to blow the air in your home extra clean into the house. These filters should be replaced regularly. Especially in the first months it is important to clean them because of the building material still present in the house. The easiest way is to do this with the vacuum cleaner. You can remove the filters from the device and simply clean them with a vacuum cleaner. The filter does not have to be removed from the frame for this. You can do this a maximum of 1 or 2 times and especially after delivery/first use.

As Nilan, we do not recommend vacuuming the filters more than 1 or 2 times after delivery/first use. When vacuuming, the structure of the filter cloth changes, as a result of which dust can be released or the dust is sucked into the filter. This does not benefit the optimal functioning of the HRV filters and the HRV installation and in particular the air quality in the apartment. After the first months, it is customary to replace the filters 2 times a year.

Switch the unit off. Remove faceplate.

Remove and clean the filters.

Also clean the filter housing.

Put the filters back into the unit.

Place the front back and secure it again.

Press the settings button and turn the device back on (On/Aan).

Press the reset button to reset the interval for the filters (RESET).

Other info

The balanced ventilation heat pump in your apartment ensures continuous indoor health. The system extracts as much heat as possible from the exhaust air of your apartment, which is then used to heat the fresh outside air. In addition, filters have been installed in the system that ensure less dust in the air.

Although you can still open windows and doors for extra ventilation, this is no longer necessary, but of course it is allowed. In winter, however, this can lead to less comfort because the heat disappears from the apartment. In the summer, more warm air can enter than desired. That is why it is wise not to leave windows and doors open for more than half an hour when it is cold or very hot. Always make sure you use sun protection (if any) in the summer to prevent the sun from heating up the house too much. In winter it is important that the sun can enter the apartment to generate extra heat.
